3rd Annual Smalljaw Members Tournament Winners

1st Place Team Gottschalk/Canterbury Total Weight 12.52 lbs

I would like to start by saying Thank You to all that make this event possible. Thanks to Greg, Keith, Sonny, Brandon and Mitch for all your help. You guys worked your tails off. Congratulations to all the winners of this event. This year was a huge success. We had 42 total boats in this event and a total of 63 fish brought to the scales. It was a close race to the end and the door was left wide open after day 1. The best part about this event is that every fisherman that gets in their boat every morning is on the same playing field with the slot limit. Everyone caught fish, but its the lucky ones that catch the right fish. I heard a lot say they lost the big one this weekend, I have been there lots of times myself. The dinner was a blast and thanks to our great sponsors we had lots of great things to give away. I already can't wait till next year... Congratulations to our winners Team Gottschalk/Canterbury with a Big fish Day 2 that was worth $700 and a 1st place finish with a total weight of 12.52 lbs and was good for $1,050. 2nd place was a close race with a first year team of Hawks/Botts that took home $525 for a total weight of 10.58 lbs. 3rd place was won by Team Arms/Arms with a total weight of 9.78 lbs that paid out $310 and $700 for thier nice big fish on Day 1. 4th place was Team Langley/Smith with a total weight of 8.39 lbs and a pay out of $120. 5th place was taken by Team Potter/Genrty with a pay out of $90 and a total weight of 6.95 lbs. The Big Green Fish Pot was a race for sure with a lot of them brought to the scale with hopes of winning this event. Day 1 winner was team Jolley/Parsons with a 3.71 lb green fish and a pay out of $350. Day 2 winner was Team Snow/Kirby with a 4.45 green fish and a pay out of $350. The rest of the places are as follows: 6th Place Team Hamilton/Martin 5.99 lbs. 7th Team Head/Brownlee 5.92 lbs. 8th Team Spears/Kirby 4.17 lbs. 9th Team White/Anderson 4.16 lbs. 10th Team Hunert/Glass 4.12 lbs. 11th Team Emerton/Savage 3.87 lbs. 12th Team Robertson/Tolland 3.74 lbs. We had a tie for 13th Place, Team Averitt/Rannigan & Team Sorrell/Preece with 3.63 lbs. 15th Team Snow/Kirby 3.01 lbs. Had a blast guys and thanks to all of you who paticipated in this event. I would also like to say a special thanks to the Legendary Horse Creek Resort for making all this possible. I hope everyone gets home safe and to all the winners call me and I will tell you what I want for Christmas, Ha Ha! Andrew
